The outback: birds, animals, sunsets and scrub.
The outback is vast and certainly not boring. It is full of life and has a
magic caused by its serenity and timelessness.
The sunsets and sun rises are an artist's dream.
It is not all desert and scrub either. There was still flood areas where the waters haven't receded from rains a few weeks back. The ponds are teeming with birds and fish.
There is an amazing number of goats running wild, along with the odd pig. The
goats are a bit of menace as they are out during the day by the road side.
Kangaroos and emus tend to be a hazard by the road at the hour of dawn and dusk, whereas goats can be around any time.
